Fashioned keenly

from the heart

A poem does best

when time is spent

Carefully crafting

the words to say

Serenity is silent and still

Resting on calm composure

Leaning on lush tranquility

Promise of wonderful peace

Like the sunset on an August evening …

Arrest this singular moment

And never let it go

Live life fully, it gladdens the heart

Send love regularly, it humbles the heart

Compliment each good deed, it comes back again

Set priorities right, you will surely succeed!

I must write

I write as I must
I write because I must write
I cannot wait till tomorrow - will be too late

Tender shoots springing up cannot be ignored
The strains of words I hear must grow louder
Till the notes and poems are brought to life

I cling to new indelible thoughts
I hold fast passing waves of notions
I write the swollen stream of ideas
That burst open soon as I will to write

Why do we write? For money, fame, or influence? A good writer looks beyond the money factor and chooses the highest and most noble value of the three: INFLUENCE. With writing, you can reach an audience greater than you have ever imagined and change the way they think about a product, service, person, community, nation, principle, law, institution, etc. You can write to describe, persuade, advocate for something, criticize, agree with or simply express your humble opinion on any subject you choose. You can target your friends, neighbors, city, nation or continent. Writing is indeed a powerful tool of communication.
